We recommend that you do not sand
the reed or clip the reed tip. For an easier playing
reed, simply buy a softer strength.
FIBRACELL Reeds are a closed cell
material and can be cleaned and disinfected. Use mild soap or detergent.
DO NOT use alcohol or solvents.
Experiment with different ligatures
and mouthpieces to find the best combination for you. For larger mouthpiece
openings, use a softer reed. Move the reed up or down slightly on the
mouthpiece to find the place that “sounds and feels” the best.
